How it works
Answer 9 one-click questions across three areas: outcome and first scope, ownership and team, and prerequisites and start. The readiness status comes first; the 0–100 score is supporting context. A start-critical gap can override an otherwise strong score.
What affects project readiness
A project is ready when the team knows enough to begin the right next piece of work—not when every later detail has been documented. The assessment focuses on:
- a clear outcome, a workable first scope and a practical definition of an acceptable first result
- business ownership, decision authority and the actual availability of the people needed to start
- critical prerequisites, controlled external dependencies and a concrete first task
When to use it
Use this check after an opportunity or project has been accepted and before delivery begins. It supports a short pre-kickoff conversation and gives the team a shared start decision, the main blockers and one action to take next.
This checks readiness to start delivery. It is not lead qualification, task estimation or a go-live checklist.
